¡YA LO CARGO EL PAYASO!

Just in time for the Cinco de Mayo festival, the sideshow is ready for a fiesta.  This time, Charlie Barker has traded in his straw hat and cane for a sombrero and zarape to tell his stories from south of the border.  We’re going to Mexico!

For our first foray into the frightening fiesta, it’s the legend of THE HAIRY HAND, also known as La Mano Peluda.  Next, Charlie relates the tale of WINDOW DRESSING, which is sure to turn a few heads.  Lastly, it is another stop on our “States of Fear” all the way in Los Alamos, New Mexico.  Here, we learn about LA MALA HORA.  This is the bad hour, where a highway wraith haunts lonely travelers.

After the fiesta, it’s time for a siesta.  G’nite until next time.  Now, close your eyes.

THAT’S JUST BEASTLY

Happy May Day!  We’re smack dab in the middle of spring, folks.  It’s a good day to talk a walk in the flowers.  But don’t do that.  Head on over to the sideshow, instead.

The sideshow is packed with pickled punks, oddities, and of course – monsters.  Today, we look at three fantastic beasts.  Our first creepy creature is one that feeds off specially bred nocturnal livestock at the AFTER MIDNIGHT DAIRY.  Then, it’s all smoke and mirrors when a carnivorous fog begins to feed on flesh and hides in NOOKS AND CRANNIES.  Char tried to catch it, but he mist.  The final monster in the menagerie is from south of the border.  It’s a MEXICAN STANDOFF.  Just don’t feed it after midnight.  Or before then, for that matter.

Speaking of south of the border, that is just what Charlie Barker has in store for you next time.  A trio of tales with a Latin flavor.  Come back to el circo de lo desconocido.  Adios.
